    when (these words came straight from his mouth I might add) he beats a guy who he thinks "isn't and shouldn't be a champion and hasn't fought anybody" (aka a bum). So Martinez beats a "bum", and now that means he gets a fight with Floyd? :patsch

    He was a top p4p fighter before this fight in case you might have forgot that part. Hes also the undisputed middleweight champion of the world.

    ****ers are acting like hes some fringe contender who just came on the scene by beating chavez and is asking floyd for a fight.

    Being an undisputed champion with 5 defenses, a top 5 p4p fighter in the world, and having a succesful ppv now under his belt.... anyone doubting his credentials to fight floyd are ****ing delusional :lol:

    ORTIZ can fight Floyd but Martinez must not have earned it yet lol.

    I'm not understanding how things are being twisted at Floyd. These words are coming straight from Martinez. He said "Chavez Jr. is a bum". Then when he wins, he gets praised, but for beating a bum? That's all I'm saying. Sergio screwed himself by calling his opponent a bum because if he would've lost, then he himself lost to a bum, but if he wins, then he just defeated a bum. It was basically all his bad

    Martinez was avoided like a STD when he was at lightmiddle. The WBC treated him like **** and now his getting the props he deserves.
