What you guys think ? i reckon the Hitman will take him out within 6 Kastidis marks up easy, easy to hit and comes straight forward, just how he likes them.

    THOUGHTS?

Would not mind this at all but Kastidis is a LW and Ricky will be at WW.

Ricky will carry the 147 much better. Kastidis doesn't have the size, even at 140, to bully opponents around let alone 147.

Probably the worst choice of opponent, Katsidis has seen better days and those were down at 135 not 147. Katsidis has lost 4 of his last 6 most of which were at Lightweight with his last loss coming at Junior Welterweight

Luis Carlos Abregu or Rafal Jackiewicz would both be good choices of opponents considering Hatton wants to get ranked for a world title shot at 147 and would show how much he has to offer without taking too much damage

Jackiewicz currently holds the EBU title if im not mistaken and that would put Hatton back in the rankings given Jackiewicz history holding a 2 fight split with former IBF world champion Jan Zaveck, both by razor thin decisions

Realistically given the current talent at 147 this would probably be his best route

Rafal Jackiewicz - European Welterweight title

Mike Jones - IBF international title

Kell Brook - IBF international title / IBF world championship depending on the outcome of Brooks next fight and should he go on to beat the winner of Bailey/Alexander. If this is the case then from this fight (should he win) :

Randal Bailey / Devon Alexander - IBF World championship

Hatton has already announced he will be fighting at welterweight for his comeback.

Hatton also said he wanted to get ranked at Welterweight so fighting Katsidis proves nothing. Katsidis has never campaigned at 147 and has lost 4 of his last 6 fights at 135 and 140, I doubt he would want to go up in weight any further where Hatton could out muscle him due to the weight advantage.

Rafael Jackiewicz however is ranked at Welterweight and holds the European Welterweight strap, has fought for a world title previously and holds a win over a world champion (although the fight was for the European belt at the time) not to mention having lost via TKO to Kell Brook in the UK also leaving previous exposure to a UK audience and holding a belt to go with (oh yeah and a winning record)

Lets face it Ricky Hatton could be fighting me in November and still draw a crowd, It's Ricky Hatton for crying out loud! Mancunians everywhere would be piling in to see it

In fact **** it! im personally calling out Ricky Hatton! I NEED MONEY FOR UNIVERSITY DAMN IT!

This is actually a good fight for both guys. Hatton hasn't fought in 3 1/2 years and didn't keep in great shape for a lot of his retirement. Katsidis is a guy that Hatton can beat in his first fight back who also has a name and would make for an entertaining fight.

Katsidis is done at the highest level so if he's going to get beat atleast he'll make a nice payday with Hatton. He's better losing to Hatton for good money than guys like Mensah for a lot less.

Great fight that would be and even tho Katsidis would have to fight a lil bit north of the border. Ricky at 65 to 80 % takes this easy, in a very similar way he beat Juan Urango. Hatton has very good footwork and punches sharp from different angles. Katsidis is also a guy who likes to slug it out but this time he finishes second.
