Because I wasn't around here back in 2008, I just got to wondering...Because the popular opinion is so split up in this place, how many of you believe Antonio Margarito used the loaded hand wraps, in his win over Miguel Cotto in their first meeting? How many of you don't believe he did?

Vote, then tell me which way you believe, (either way below.)

I believe he sure as hell did use illegal wraps. And honestly, he probably had been doing so for a long time.

    This 100%.

    :deal

Here is some info and the actual report from the CSAC hearing leading to the suspension. After you read through the ENTIRE document there is little doubt that the Mosley incident was not the first time.

The real info is inside the document you will have to read and digest it.

    Bottom line:

    YES, HE CHEATED AGAINST COTTO!

At first I was convinced he used them. But now, 'I not so sure'.

His power seemed to have faded in the Mosley fight (as well as the other one), and so it was easy to assume it was because he wasn't loaded any more. But really, against Mosley he hardly even landed anything, and in the other return fight he elected to box more. Inconclusive, if you ask me.

Then the Pac fight came - where is punching power returned. Pac hadn't been hurt like that for years. He almost folded like a wet paper bag with those body shots. And in my opinion, he hasn't looked the same since.

So, I'm slightly (ever so slightly) leaning towards the belief that he naturally is a heavy-handed guy - with the help of his long arms that pick up a lot of momentum on the way. If someone was to tell me he loaded for Mosley because his preparations were **** and they panicked at the last minute, then that could be plausible. But then I have to question why those plaster blocks were bloody (or colour rubbed off from the gloves) if they hadn’t been used in the past – be it for Cotto or anyone else.

It’s a mystery. A truth which may never be revealed. A truth, as bizarre as it may sound, that Margarito himself may never even know. Capetillo is the only one who can give all the answers, but that man will remain silent and take that **** with him to the grave.

Margo has been easily and savagely defeated by every single elite fighter he's faced since his loaded gloves were discovered. Just saying.

Cotto produced a picture of Margarito's wraps on his iPad during face off for there 2nd fight, he asked Margarito, what is this ?? explain this ?? Margarito's face had guilt written all over it !!

    Case closed IMO

Clean performance until proven otherwise. And it's not just me. Sexy Sergio said he considers his loss legit.

I'm honestly not sure. I thought for certain he did before, then I saw the illusion of the "cracked" wraps and thought about it heavily. Truthfully I'm leaning towards the side of he didn't do it.

Cotto was just very inexperienced and Margarito was a stylistic nightmare for him at the time.

Cotto got his ass beat and was forced to quit due to Margarito's relentless non stop punching pressure, if he cheated or not i have no clue and so is the case with anyone who isnt full of ****.

Hard to say,Cotto's face was destroyed and he did basically quit at the end,if the hands were loaded id imagine every punch was torture,i think based on the way the fight ended and Cotto's face then yeah his hands were loaded..
