I've recently been working as part of a new British boxing magazine on the Apple App store, Android and online etc. I can't say too much about it on the forum as the mods will get pissed as it's advertising... :banned BritBox puts a lot of work into doing features on the young lads and prospects as it's most important to get the exposure for them, got all the basics like reports, previews, features, interviews, history pieces, coaches corner etc check it out at BritBoxMag.co.uk Seen as everyone here is the target audience, I was wondering what you'd like to see out of a magazine these days? Any ideas or things that you can't get else where that you'd like to see? Any ideas welcome fellers. Cheers :good
The designs are quite nifty too, just need a few more ideas to get people what they want! This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Actual magazine mate, we have a website, but that's just there for bits of news and promotion. Out to anyone with an iPhone, iPad, Android too, just download the app :good We have an online version too. No paper print though, it's pointless and hard to get round the whole UK!
I suggest a column called ''Goon watch'' focusing mainly on Amir Khan, each week you can jot down Amir's latest bout of twatishness and show the world what a complete tool the boy really is.
Thanks Brickfists, appreciated. Issue one is a Liverpool special, Pricey, Bellew etc. But i'm sure we'll get plenty of Irish features next issue!
From a business point of view it would be a good move, if you can get an interview with him even better, can always rely on Amir for a priceless quote or two. :good
Sure I can leach a quote from him as good as, "'If we had the defence we should have had we would be the best fighter in the world. Thats the downfall of me and Manny Pacquiao were both offensively the best fighters in the world, but defensively were not the best.'' atsch
It's bi-monthly first year, so 6 issues, (easier to get us started up) monthly starting next year once we get it rolling. App is free to download, then £1.99 an issue or £8.99 for the whole year! First issue just 99p to view online as a launch offer. Hopefully it's going to be top quality stuff and worth it. Only British boxing magazine out there and cheaper than other mags :good
I'm a boxing news subscriber, but your magazine is very good value for money it's just getting your name out there I guess, I'll download and pay for a year when I get home.
