Kyotaro Fujimoto wins ud against Chauncy Welliver.

    Scores was 91-99 - 93-98 -94-98.

Chauncy Welliver weighted 250 pounds for fight.

What future is there for Welliver after this loss?

He's a kickboxer and this was only his 5th pro fight. he is really small for a HW (6ft, short arms and not as big as someone like tyson) and should probably go to CW but it's a decent win and he's only 26

He is a former K1 kickboxing HW champ.
Dude's not to bad, he beat some good fighters back in his K1 days, including Peter Aerts.
Taking on Welliver in his 5th pro fight is definitely respectable, although i don't see him going to far.
At 6.ft and 210-ish pounds he's to small.

nice, I was curious to see who won this bout ... big step up for Kyotaro as Welliver has a ton more pro experience

this moves Kyotaro to 5-0 if I'm not mistaken (3 wins by KO)

and yeah Kyotaro was a former K-1 HW Champion (220 lbs or under)

youtube other fights of his if you like

Based on how utterly **** Welliver looked against Bert Cooper and Sherman Williams, and Kyotaro's K-1 pedigree, I'd wager that Kyotaro won easily (not that I saw it, but I saw nothing in Welliver's past 2 fights that suggested he would have a good shot of winning this).

I can't see Kyotaro going far at HW due to his size, he could be a top 20 cruiser if he dropped down.

Chauncy must surely realise now he is not and never will be a top level heavyweight, however I doubt he will retire and he'll probably keep fighting regularly against cans and getting fed to prospects too.

Well if he was a k-1 champ,it would indicate that he is at least tough as nails and in good shape, with ok hands.

At 26 and only 5 fights into his pro career,he has LOTS of time to improve.

Fujimoto is the biggest bum on the heart.Well, I think that places Welliver as the biggest bum in the universe.

So Welliver weighed 250 pounds, this after talking trash that he would KO the guy. Welliver seems to have excellent survivor skills, not boxing skills.

I suspect Welliver can continue to make decent paydays fight in China, where he has developed a following.
