Canelo is too big for Marcos....We all know Miadana will be game but he won't have enough power at 154 to deter Alvarez who is a pretty thick Jr MW.

When Lopez loses to Ortiz in a rematch, Canelo will fight him too. Canelo will never fight anyone who is not smaller or completely shot to ****.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. If memory serves correct, Maidana already said earlier this year he would move up to fight him. Then they put Maidana on the undercard this past weekend against a bigger man that has fought many times above 150, and Maidana took care of business in a great back and forth fight.
GBP could do it and get away with it, I know Showtime would buy this fight and it would do good ratings.
That being said Maidana would get sparked, though he did pull out the Karass fight in a good war, Karass is a big guy but he does not possess the skills of Canelo at all.
If the fight happens, Canelo wins. At least they have him staying busy, but enough is enough and I sure hope they are just trying to keep in tact a huge money fight on Cinco de Mayo against a true threat at 154 like Cotto or Mayweather.
Truth be told though, Maidana probably has just as much of a chance as Kirkland, but he's in limbo trying to get out of a contract, and we know they will not be putting him in with Lara right now.

You give a flying **** because you are just one of his cheerleaders. It should matter who Canelo (140lbs Killer does suit him better) fights because he is suppse to be a champion at LMW!! And how the hell can Canelo "destroying" Cotto going to shut up ESB? Cotto has been through wars, a fact that Canelo hasn't. Cotto was beaten with loaded gloves, beaten to a pulp by a midget and has fought people in his division. Its not fair to assume that as long as Canelo fights Cotto its all good. So Canelo just milk it and then jump to the big stage when ever he is ready? If I were a Canelo fan or cheerleader in your case, I would be ashamed.

****, even Jr. has atleast fought decent competition on his weight division. I remember Canelo calling out Jr everytime he had the chance (this was when Canelo and JR were still on Televisa and TV Azteca) now that Jr has looked impressive and looks like a ****ing beast and has taken on MW ranked opponents, Canelo seems to be intersted on only his "career". :-(

:patsch So a guy thats never fought at 154 has a better chance than a guy thats been in the division for over 2 years now? Based on what gives you this assumption?? You're just a plain hater if you believe that bull****.

The **** you read on here is pathetic at times!:verysad

The sad part is that even though this is fabricated the likely of this happening is very possible. Just shows how protected Alvarez is. He's ready to be tested now but it is more likely it'll be in his 144th fight it seems when he is 143-0 and they call him better than Greb. GBP act like facing a 154 lb'er will kil em. He's a champ he's suppose to face challengers at his weight class not playground kids and soon to be cemetary bound geezers.
