Objectively speaking,Louis is lucky to make it out of the third round against Muhammad Ali.

Louis survived Baer who nearly propelled him out of the ring, yet won't survive 3 rounds with Ali who took 7 rounds against the much chinnier Patterson?

Though I have a funny feeling you're joking and I should laugh about it.

"trolling" has tainted us all, no longer we can just enjoy sarcasm.
    Sarcasm is a dying art.

Buddy Baer almost knocking Louis out of the arena is hardly convincing support, mate.

And I have this sneaky feeling that I should feel the same way about this thread and your "analysis",but it seems you actually believe it.

Sarcasm is dead and buried.Trolling is timeless and will never die.

Ali would beat Joe imo.. and it would be a pretty wide ud unless Joe caught him.

erm, no. ali may have not been the strongest puncher, but he definitely had enough pop to knock louis out. louis wouldn't be able to handle the movement of ali. and louis didn't have good defence, so ali is going to land his punches. lots of them. stoppage for ali round about the tenth.

frazier was able to get inside of ali very easily using his bobbing and weaving. louis didn't really have that kind of style. he was slower of foot.

i just don't see him being as successful as frasier was. sorry. and i'm a louis man.

we are talking about a prime ali which would mean he wouldn't use the rope a dope.

yes, but after the cooper knock down, ali went to business and beat him up and stopped him on cuts.

he'd last longer than that. he was a tough guy. i do see him being stopped later in the fight though.

Cooper didn't have Louis' power and wasn't a better finisher than him. Besides, the only reason Clay surived that round is because the knockdown happened just seconds before the end of the round.

    Ali by decision, wide.

In his prime, he was just too good on the move, and he never got off the bike. Louis' one weakness, his feet, would be kryptonite in this particular match up.

Also, Ali is one of only 3 or 4 heavyweights I'd predict to outjab Joe. This almost never happened, but usually, when a fighter outperformed Joe's left with his own, he did very well.
