i dont think 6 is realistic

maybe a late KO like what almost happened

I can see him learning better and learning how to deliver his shots better improve his offense maybe take more risks

Martinez took big shots through out but wasnt hit or caught repeatedly or took a sustained beating

even in the 12th he took big shots and traded to finish the fight

i think he could stop Martinez in a rematch but it isnt likely just possible

True, although Martinez will be far more capable to recover from them with a full tank and fresh legs. Maybe he'll actually clinch this time too.

The only thing that makes it more probable is the fight will probably happen again, which creates the opportunity. Beyond that the likelihood of it happening is very small, because Sergio wouldn't allow Jr. to let his hands go. He couldn't get off because Martinez wouldn't let him, and that wont change the next time around. The main reason the 12th happened like it did, was Sergio attempting to close the show with a stoppage, which created the opportunity for Jr. to finally throw. Sergio learned that wasn't a very good idea, and will refrain from doing so in the rematch.

If you were able to be objective here you would be able to see this, but because you're a Jr. fan and so emotionally invested, all you can see is Jr. knocked him down, not the events that led up to it, which gave it a chance to happen. Sergio will not make the same mistakes again in the rematch, but instead box throughout from start to finish, putting on another masterclass. That my friend is what is much more likely to happen, because that is what already has happened.

It can happen if junior goes all out from the start, and really trains instead of trying to be cheech and chong, he's got the power to ko martinez but no discipline

  9. you should be declared mentally incompetent... i saw the fight and i know what happened. chavez had a pretty good second round. he ll need more head movement in the rematch and he'll need to use his whole body, to make it a rough fight. just like he did in the 12th round. i can see him winning the rematch by ko. i can also envisage martinez schooling him again and even koing chavez. its an interesting fight. im lookin forward to it.

How will Sergio react if Chavez tries to knock him out the second the bell rings in the first round.:huh

  11. if i were martinez, i wouldnt be completely satisfied with the win. it was a near shut out, no doubt, but i wouldnt be completely satisfied.

    lol :rofl
And if a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his ass when he hops.

It's probable that Martinez gets stopped in just about any round. Most likely not, but the possibility of it happening would the same as in their last fight. And we know how that went.

Jr. had a minute and a half to close the show and couldn't. Who cares if he puts him down again if he can't finish it?

 okay, but you know it's true. However if it makes you feel better to insult my mental capacity, have it it. Doesn't change anything.
