Kobe, Lebron, Messi, Ronaldo, Tiger, Federer, Nadal, Brady, Kaka, Bolt, Phelps, A Rod, Jeter and others are all on par or above Floyd in popularity

 

Floyd is still part of that elite club getting exposure which = more money. People will pay to see him lose for their hatred of him.

I like your list other than Kaka and Bolt. Kobe is is on another level over everyone on that list. He is in his own dimension.
