Golovkin vs Mayweather at 154lbs

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by D4thincarnation, Sep 20, 2012.

  1. Golovkin, after the Proska fight, said in his post fight interview said that he is willing to fight anyone from 154lbs to 168lbs.

So how would Triple G get on against Mayweather at 154lbs.

Golovkin would have the natural size advantage, he is also very accurate and is heavy handed and carries monster power. He also possesses a great long jab, and is a great body puncher to boot.

Can't see nothing other than Golovkin within 5.

    Poll Coming!!!

This fight is just wrong and premature.........for both fighters.

  4. Don't know how anybody can think that Floyd could stop Golovkin. The dudes has got an iron chin, has never eve been hurt, and Floyd ain't a big puncher.

If Floyd eats some of the shots that he did during the Cotto fight then he's ****ed, but Floyd's a great boxer so I could see him pulling out the decision.

This might end up any way possible... GGG might moider Floyd, but it's also very possible he would be completely outboxed.

Fist we have to see Golovkin vs Geale or something.

I can't wait for GGG to get his slow ass outboxed and exposed so this hype can end.

he beat proksa for god sakes.

  8. Destroyed Proska.

Don't think Proska has ever been down before.

Proska is a very decent fight, about the same standard of a Ortiz at welter.

    no he's not

proksa was beaten by a d level welsh journeyman with less power than paulie malignaggi.

i used to like GGG but not anymore i hope he gets knocked the **** out.

  10. Golovkin got some skills.

His amateur record is world class, with victories over Bute and Dirrel.

Great punch selection, excellent timing and footwork and very accurate.

  11. Ortiz was given a beating by a 35/1 underdog and quit.

Hope wasn't a 35/1 underdog now was he.

And the cut affected Proska, who was not KOed, and in the rematch he put on a great display and got the KO.

  12. And who is going to do that?

Hope had less chance of winning than josesito.

Hope has no power and fights in leisure centres and he put a hurting on proksa cut or no cut.

Proksa is not a great fighter, never was and never will be no matter how you try sugar coat it.

  15. I agree, but who, not who not.:bbb
