Look Salido chin is good but not rock solid Garcia has a huge right hand. KO is not excluded.

I never saw anything in Garcia to make me say "What a Fantastic fighter". With that being said....if it's close Garcia will probably get the decision. However, Salido keeps coming with "punches in bunches" and Garcia chin has yet to be truly tested.

Awesome but sad fight for me. 2 of my favorite fighters fighting each other. This will be like when JMM fought J. Diaz. Except this time I think it will be a passing of the torch. Although Salido can very well pull the upset. I was growing anxious waiting for Garcia to take on a tough opponent.

Lara-Vanes is one I am slightly leaning towards Vanes now. Lara had problems with the pressure of el Riel last time out. Vanes is a big LMW and has a great straight right hand. I think Vanes will struggle with pressure fighters als Ouma. Lara is too inactive to bother Vanes as much. I think Vanes takes this with his straight right hand. We do not really know of Laras chin but he could be chinny. If he is then those straight right hands could take their toll and put him down for good.

great card. i really liked salido until i figured out he got caught using a PED's i believe vs guerrero . so that kinda bothers me, but i really enjoy his fights always puts on a slug fest entertaining fite. so i just wanna see a good fight. but i would pick salido to win it.

lara will probably win, but i think he is a bit overated. if the odds are good enough ill put money on vanes i think he could pull it off. but still think lara still has the better chance to win.

Fear not my fellow boxing fan...Salido took an immediate blood test at LabCorp the following day and came out Negative. Salido schooled Guerrero fair and square. :deal

Garcia-Salido is gonna be a WAR, i cannot wait!

Too bad is gonna be on the same night of Mares-Moreno tho!

I definetly can't miss either one of those.

and Lara is gonna wreck that phoney Vanes. :deal

Absolutely awesome card. Well done HBO!

This is the time for Mikey Garcia to make his presence known to the world. He is a future P4P fighter. He is so young, yet extremely disciplined! He's not your typical Mexican slugger, but an intelligent boxer-puncher with solid fundamentals.

This is your time Mikey! Show the game you are the Truth!

This is a huge step up for Mikey Garcia. Salido is quite possibly the true undisputed 126 world champion or at least number 2 next to Gamboa.

Now Mikey Garcia got my respect just for taking this fight since he is fighting a true champion not like the ginger Canelo who fought bloated Matthew Hatton for the We Be Crooks belt from Sulaiman.

Great card. I can't remember a dull Salido fight, and I'm very intrigued by Vanes vs. Lara.

Vanes hasn't faced anybody on Lara's skill level, but Lara has shown the ability to underwhelm (like his last fight). If Lara doesn't show a sense of urgency and lets rounds slip away, this could be interesting. Of course, if he unleashes his full talent this could be a breakout performance. Either way, fans win.

What's with people saying a chin "hasn't been tested yet". I'm sick of it, chins don't win fights landed punches and/or corrupt promoters do. The point is to not let that clean punch happen and if it does to recuperate to get the W. It's boxing, hit and don't get hit and that's what Lara & Garcia have to follow as they're boxer-types. That being said yes their opponents have a puncher's chance but Lara & Garcia have to nullify that chance as much as possible or possible take that away. I'm rooting for them and hope they box their way to UD's and ignore the chances of getting reckless.
