Good post. I'm particularly fond of your complete misuse of the apostrophe and how it makes absolutely no sense.

You can have my two cents since you spared me time writing a similar post.

I don't think Spinks vs Tyson is a good example.
Spinks appeared more than a little "nervous" ha...but he still went in there and did his best, and yes, got KO'd. And probably knew he was gonna get KO'd.

    Sounds more brave than anything...

Haye-Valuev is a close runner-up, I mean, how do you run from a 300 lb sloth who you could circle twice before he decides to throw a punch :-(

You're probably right that Spinks deserves slack, he was old and came up to heavyweight from light heavy. It was foolish for anyone to think he could stand in there with Tyson.

Still, it was fairly obvious that he was scared stiff.

Was Haye's performance any worse than Wlad's? The only fighter to get hurt was Wlad, who held and pawed with his jab all night. He won, sure, but he hardly put in a Gatti-esque performance. Both fighters were poor that night. Haye only lost because he was outboxed but it's not like he showed any less desire than Wlad. Both were scared of the others power and neither had any intention to fight. A show of cowardice on both parts.

Hmmm, going in against an ATG heavyweight who outweighed him by more than 30 lbs and going 12 rounds with him.

Getting in the ring with a guy who had a 100 lbs and almost a foot in height on him, and nearly knocking him out on his way to victory.

    ......what a *****

Golota Vs. Tyson was pretty cowardly, but Haye Vs. Wlad is really cowardly as well.
