Did Hopkins really unify the MW division?

    Same way Tyson was never unified heavyweight champ because he didn't beat Francisco Damiani.

    And Calzaghe was never unified Super Middle, because he was stripped by the IBF! Plus he never won WBF, WBU, IBA or IBO!

    Hard time accepting what?
    I think Hopkins was the unified champ, but I am asking what others think when he didnt unify with 2 undefeated champs who were there in the waiting

    Start another thread about Tyson and Calzaghe. This thread is Hopkins, Jacobs and Perugino.

    No, nobody mention Ottke another undefeated champ Hopkins didnt want to meet.
    Let it go Arcane. Ottke was at SMW then, so leave Hopkins be and just concentrate on Perugino and Jacobs

    The trinkets he's mentioning are just beyond irrelevant. It was almost two decades before even the WBO even found it's way to the slightest importance. You didnt even need to hold it to be considered undisputed. WBU, WBF ? :rofl

    A guy with a record of 9-5-4 sent Perugino to coma.
    It is a sad thing that it happened but Perugino was a nobody(in the boxing game).

    Exactly, according to him, since they were undefeated ...it means that the belts hold value:lol:...I'm loving how this clown ass dude is putting so much emphasis on that.
