If you could take two fighters from any division to fight (being the same size), what fights do you wish could happen, just too see how well styles blend, etc?
Lightweight 15 rounds - Roberto Duran Vs Julio Cesar Chavez - the Pure educated Class of Chavez's Aggression Vs the Pure Animal Instinctual Aggression of Duran, - One drawback with Chavez's brand of perfection...perhaps it lends itself a high class predictability that very few could begin to exploit...Duran is probably one of them, he doesn't spend time considering, assessing, or evaluating ...he just does...instinctively..and instantly...Duran may force Chavez onto the back foot forcing Julio to box like he did against Rameriez, But Duran is not a one-paced Plodder...one could expect Latin Fireworks aplenty...
Joe Frazier vs. Rocky Marciano. Both did the same thing to opponents, for different reasons. It'd be cool to see which reasons trumped others head to head.
Harry Greb - Jack Dempsey Greb beat Dempsey title challengers Brennan, Miske, Gibbons, Darcy and Tunney, but never got a shot at him. Armstrong - Pryor Action, action, action! Duran - Leonard Let's see if Arcel was right!
Strangely to some Jones vs Hopkins 2 (in 2001) Trinidad vs Mosley Duran vs Chavez Mayweather vs Pacquaio Mike Tyson vs Wlad Klitschko Lennox Lewis vs Muhammad Ali Bernard Hopkins vs James Toney Joe Calzaghe vs Andre Ward Mayweather vs Arguello at 130.
Whitaker vs. Duran and PBF Louis vs. Ali, Tyson, Jack Johnson & Tunney Frazier vs. Marciano and Dempsey Ike vs. Pea, Benny and Duran SRL vs. Hears and SRL at welter SRL vs. Hagler and Jones at Middle Charles and Walcott vs. RJJ at LHW
Mike Tyson vs Jack Dempsey - the atmosphere would be absolutely electric and the entrance would be awesome too haha - aside from that I wonder what odds there'd b on the fight going beyond 2 rounds?? Haha
