Same thing that made Pac think Floyd wasn't going to weigh in at 147 although he's NEVER had an issue making 147.. He didn't make the catch weight with JMM because he wanted to weigh in at 147.. Seriously there's like .00001 chance Floyd wouldn't have made 147, we all know that.
or maybe that he would use for the fight?alot of fighters cheat in boxing so who knows. why would pac use overweight clauses for oscar? its just to make sure they wont cheat to gain advantages
Pacquiao asked for that stip because Floyd broke an agreement and got away with paying Marquez pennies for it. Why did Floyd doubt Pacquiao for?
Same thing? Are you serious? atsch You realize Floyd originally wanted Pac at JrMW right? That and floyd's blatant disregard for the agreed upon weight in the JMM fight are what made them put that stipulation there. Do you realize what would have happened if Floyd did it again? No fight, and MILLIONS lost for everyone invloved.
There was no clause for Oscar. You are a fool if you really think Pacquiao could bully Oscar in negotiations. Why did Floyd want Pacquiao blood tested and no other fighter before? What happened to make that happen?
Floyd broke an agreement to fight at a weight below 147 where he hadn't fought at in what, 4 years? He's never had an issue making 147, and didn't show any signs of not being able to make it. I cannot speak for what Floyd thought, but my assumption is how Pac KTFO Hatton. Floyd has mentioned Manny going up in weight not losing speed and KTFO of bigger men. He's explained his stance several times I'm quite sure.
I realize that came out in the beginning, did you for one second believe the fight would happen any higher than 147? --Please answer You do know Team Pac originally wanted the fight at 140 or a catch weight? If he didn't make weight with JMM, why would they want the fight so low? Possibly to drain him? --Please answer Floyd didn't go below 147, where he'd been fighting at for about 4 years.. Do you believe Floyd would have NOT made 147? --Please answer If so, what do you base this off of? Him choosing not to make a weight he hasn't in 4 years? --Please answer
Doesn't matter what I think, fact of the matter is, they tried FIRSAT for 154. Why would they even suggest Pac vs. Floyd at 154? How about you answer that? And WTF are you on about, Pac MADE the weight vs. JMM that both agreed to. Drain JMM? Are you kidding? As for Floyd not going below 147, he AGREED to a weight below at 144, then rushed to get the contract changed the morning of the weigh in. Why agree to a weight he has no intention of making and changing it at the last mninute? Your questions are pretty irrelevent in this discussion.
He weighed in at 138 vs. Hatton. And caught him with a great punch. Is that supposed to be suspiscious?
Can't believe people think there was a rehydration clause for this, just as vs. Cotto. ****in idiots.... Floyd is the ONLY one on record to ever ask for rehydration clause, and that was vs. Winky when he called him out, then backed out.
Same reason Pac's team suggested Floyd fight them at 140 when he hadn't fought at that weight in years.. Trying to see how much power you have in negotiations.. You won't say what you think, because you and I both know the fight was happening at 147 or no fight at all. Floyd didn't make weight with JMM, not Pac.. If Floyd didn't make 144, why the hell would Team Pac try to get him below 147 again? Drain him? Didn't Roach say he wanted Floyd below 147 to make him "work at/for the weight"? AKA train to make weight instead of fight like they did with Cotto. He probably had intentions of making it, saw he was uncomfortable below 147 and decided he wasn't losing the weight. Bad move by Floyd, yes... But it's terrible evidence to try and prove why you believe a man who couldn't make a weight he hasn't in 4 years isn't going to make the weight he's been making for 4 years. You said Floyd wanted the fight at JrMW like it was a point yet refuse to give your input on if you believed for one second the fight would be higher than 147, because you know damn well you don't believe that. You didn't understand the second part I wrote, because you thought it was about Pac and JMM. It's quite relevant.. Last part is explaining why one would believe Floyd won't have trouble making 147..
Wasn't suspicious to me, but Floyd fighting Hatton at 147 and taking much longer to KO him hitting him a lot more could have raised flags in his mind.. Floyd's mentioned that being the reason he wants Pac tested, more than once I believe.. I don't agree with the thought of Pac taking something to make him stronger/hit harder, but it's Floyd's concern not mines. I can say it makes sense, even if I don't agree with it.
