Every few years theirs a great white hype that emerges. After the last great white hype (Bute) got demolished that vacant slot needed to be filled. Welcome GGG.

There should also be the big strong black guy appearing soon as well. Think lacy. They will throw media dollars and hire great PR to tell anyone who will listen that they're the future. Here's a few trends with theses type of guys.

    1. Claim that they can't get fights and everyone is ducking them.
    2. Usually hide in a weight class below their weight, bullying smaller guys
    3. When they make their American debuts it's usually against a non American fighter. SMH
    4. Superman stories about KO big foot and other super heavy weights during sparring
    5. Stories of catching bullets with their ****ing teeth.

Well Well lets check out this video of GGG vs well past prime Ouma, who is ranked 97 in the top 100 slickest boxers category. He gets the best of him of course, but it's easy to see this guy will get out boxed very shortly.

At best this guy is Arthur Abraham. When he fights the first guy with any kind of movement he get's embarrassed.

By the way where was GGG when Pirog was healthy and kicking ass? He was calling out everyone. Was GGG in hiding?

Gennady is so small. He lacks size and I think his horrid defense will get him knocked out the moment he steps up.

I fear for him. I heard he is with K2 Promotions? That is a slave labor company. He will probably end up broke if he don't leave them.

People will call me crazy but Chavez would eat him alive. Too big, too strong and has the chin to take the punches. GGG doesn't have any defense at all and no lateral movement to speak of. Chavez would get in on him easily push him around and land hard shots from the opening bell. Chavez TKO 8

Why would there be a white hype when the HW champ has been white for almost a decade?

Sergio would stop him, but I think he beats everybody else at 160

How was Bute exposed when he was already World Champion

He has only lost to Carl Froch who is extremely good

Froch would shatter Chad Dawsons glass jaw to a thousand peices

The guy has to be the most over hyped boxer on this forum and why? Because he beat a Euro bum who couldn't even keep his hands up to defend himself yet people are rating him over Geale who against all odds went to Germany and took the IBF and WBA (Super) Middleweight titles from the champions in their own backyards, a feat that has never been achieved before. But the ******s on this forum think GGG is the next best thing and make idiotic statements like "he would knock mayweather out" or "he had a great amateur career therefore he can beat anyone" or "he would ko Ward and Martinez because he has the punching power of Wlad klitschko". The guy has power and some sound technical skills but that's about it. His defense is **** (he got tagged easily by the euro bum Proska with ease) his hand speed is no where near that of Martinez or Geale and has a **** poor work rate but these facts won't stop GGG **** jockeys from vomiting their bull****.

Lol. You can't be serious. He's not flashy, not the least bit "slick", but he's technically all around very good. His defense isn't like Floyd's, but more like Tszyu's or Marquez where he'll punch with you. He's pretty versatile too I've never seen him attack the body so much he would of finished Ouma much earlier with a body attack, but Ouma has always been a tough son of a gun. GGG is not the fighter you want to overlook I fear for Maravilla, Chavez Jr, Dirrell, Froch, Bute, and yes even Ward. GGG is a fighter who would be dangerous from the first bell to the last. If he's not mauling you he's countering you. I think only Maravilla and Ward stand a chance. Bute or Lacy didn't have the high profile scalps like GGG had in the ams I wouldn't really compare them to GGG. He can box like a master boxer and also be a destroyer. Proksa would of been game with anyone else he gets underrated because of loss to Hope, but Proksa avenged that loss. GGG owned Proksa like a pro vs an amatuer. Dissected him in a fight that wasnt even close.

Theres definatly guys who match up well with him as opposed to others, and we will see how things pan out.

He is no doubt better then you are making him out to be, which is why Im so glad you made this thread because it will fall flat on its face within a couple years and it will be a joy to see.

Golovkin seems like a nice guy but the hype this guy has gotten is crazy, he is so slow and stiff with his punches, Chavez Jr is probably more fluid with his punches than Golovkin.

To your credit around all the bull****, you have a point he looks terrible in that fight. He is better in the late rounds but still looks pretty bad. I liked what I saw against Proska. His jab was stiffer and faster and his timing seemed to be a lot better. I need to see him against B or B+ fighter like Sturm, Gaele or Chavez to be able to rate him. I trust Doug Fisher inside information from the gyms though and I believe that Golovkin will have a great career. I think that he is extremely open for the jab and Sexy Sergio will box his ears off and stop him late. I think that he will beat Jr in a war.
