What's Happened To Alexander Frenkel?

There were reports he burned out and quit boxing about 1-2 years ago. Also rumours about a bad hand injury.

 

I read that he had depression and wasn't in a fit state mentally to box.

 

He almost killed Maccarinelli, maybe he wasn't into that brutal stuff. Too bad, very well schooled fighter with outstanding power.

Too bad really, he was a nice change from the typically boring German fighters.

He was a Russian Jew from Ukraine. There were reports from the Sauerland gym that him and Huck hated eachother and Frenkel knocked Huck out twice in sparring which made Wegner ban them from sparring. After the Enzo win he was set to fight for the Euro Title, damn shame he hasn't returned he's only 27.

 

He was set to defend the Euro Title. he won it from Enzo. But yeah, a shame he hasnt returned. I hope he does:deal

 

My bad. He was a good boxer, good defense, solid chin and brutal puncher. CW is filled with punchers but we can always use another one :good
