    It's written by Joe McKKKenzie who as far as I know is perma-banned from this board for being a grade A **** amongst other things.

    Considering that this is coming from somebody who said that Adamek is a blown up cruiser and should not fight at HW - it does sound biased & borderline ******ed.

    He was back with a new alt the other day, started a thread about Sven Ottke & was banned again within 24 hours :lol:

    I'm not sure Joe's the one who writes it, there was another equally vile poster called Silencer who used to quote it a lot, he is also permabanned & good riddance.

    Joe M admitted he wrote the blog, ans Silencer said in other threads he contributed to it. I thought they were the same person at one point.

    I'm ok with things if you compare them p4p with the modern.
    But they added the weight limit for a reason and Ezzard Charles wouldn't stand a chance against Wladimir.

    P4P Ezzard > Wlad still.

    Some skills from the past are gone, like good bodypunchers (I mainly blame amateur boxing for that) and feinting.
    But after a certain point pure power trumps skills, which is why Oscar De La Hoya despite being taller, more reach, faster and more skilled than Tyson would have never defeated Tyson.
