    Too premptive to call Bute a glass jawed fraud. Duran got knocked the **** out by Hearns and no one talks about it? Sure he gave Hagler a good fight but still, he got punked like a ***** vs Hearns. Hearns couldn't even knock Sutherland out.

    I know it's hard to bare but there's no reason for everyone to rip on Bute. KO's like that happen. Duran got his **** messed by Hearns, same with Bute against Froch.

    Hearns is a Top 10 ATG puncher and was at his peak. Roberto was mid-30s, some 75+ fights deep and around 20 lbs above his best weight.

    I never said Hearns wasn't a hard puncher, but to be TKO'd in 2 isn't an excuse. Hearns couldn't even knock Sutherland out + several others.

    Froch is also one of the most powerfu punches in the 168 division.

    Awesome performance by Tommy, and brave one by Roberto.

    I agree, I think Bute had an off nite and that he'll be back impressively and even beat Froch impressively. He's been KO'd by Golovkin, essentially by Andrade and bounced back great both times. In a way he's similar to Tommy in that he's got a great offense, but weak chin.

    Great post. Bute will bounce back. It was just a very off night for him. WAY TOO EARLY to call him a fraud when he's 30-1.

    The punch Duran got hit with would have knocked an elephant out.

    Also like the other poster said he was 20lbs over his best weight against an atg puncher, The two knockouts have almost no similarities, bad way to put your point across.

    Bute hasn't got a glass chin froch just pounded him but he wasn't unconscious, them puches also would have stopped most smw's, mabye he will come back stronger, can't see him beating froch though, will wait and see

    Your missing the point. Duran was knocked out by Hearns. Hearns would beat the **** out of Froch while giving up 8 pounds and with Froch's mom as a ref. Besides that Duran is Duran and Bute is a guy who hasn't beaten a decent fighter in his whole career. I would ask you to do the math but if your were capable of adding all this up on your own you wouldn't be irritating people with this pointless thread.
