Let's be honest. They're both great fighters. Floyd is a master of defense and a great attacker and he's black and he's undefeated and he's American. He got EVERYTHING a champ needs and he's probably the best in the world right now (perhaps except for Andre Ward, but let's not debate that). But Pacquaio... While he doesn't have a perfect record, he's dangerous as **** to fight against, he got some serious power in those punches. Who of you would like to fight Pacquiaio? Nah, I wouldn't, neither. If Floyd doesn't want to, then leave Floyd alone, he's proven himself a great fighter. Why can't we all just respect Floyd and Manny for the great things they have contributed to in boxing? They're both legends and their cold war will never be forgotten.
Yeah, seeing as all the other threads are dedicated to either racism against Floyd or anti-asianism against Manny and this bull**** needs to stop. This thread is about love for two of the best fighters, no hatered here! They're both awesome.
Good post Larry.....its sometimes hard to really appreciate just how great both of these fighters are with all the bull**** that has been going on over the last 3 yrs. I appreciate your post homie.
YEh everyone knows they are both great fighters. It just so happens that they are big rivals therefore their fans wont get along
What's your point, fellow Pacquaio fan? I love watching Pacquaio fight, too. He's very good at it and he got a very impressive record full of dramatic knockouts and long wars against Mexicans and tough ass Black people from America.
the question is rather who is better in his prime? IMO, Pac clearly. Something he proved in the ring.
Well, Pac DID lose a few times, Mayweather never did. But they're very close, no matter who the better of them is (and we'll never know who that is). Point of matter is that they're both great boxers and everyone should get along.
Because its a sport. And in sport rival fans seldom get along. Especially when you factor how important Pacquiao is to the Filipino population, and how disrespectful Floyd has been to Pac in the past, they will take it personally.
