Braekhus is jabbing into Mathis' guard and hopping around on the outside. Big right hands coming forward by Mathis, missing over Braekhus' shoulder. Braekhus is bouncing around and landing the jab well, but experiencing some scary moments as Mathis gets close with her powerfully loaded up right hands falling into clinches.

Braekhus is dancing around and blocking as Mathis chops down at her. Big left hook by Braekhus through a pair of Mathis straights, and a well-timed 1-2.

Big right hand by Mathis, stunning Braekhus. The ref warns Braekhus for holding Mathis' arms. Braekhus tries to back her off with a 1-2. BIG RIGHT CROSS to the chin of Mathis, turning her head but not slowing her down. Mathis slams over the top with right hands as Braekhus dances to her right, then left. Braekhus floats a jab from outside, but Mathis catches her on the kisser with a stiff jab. Mathis stalks as Braekhus hops around the ring. Big exchange, and Mathis gets a powerful left hook on Braekhus' ribs. Clinch, and Braekhus punches out of it with a hook to the braids.

BIG RIGHT HAND by Mathis in an early exchange as Braekhus tries to stand her ground and get some respect. Big left hook by Braekhus! Mathis runs in and puts together uppercuts to the boobs as Braekhus tries to jab her off. Mathis skips back out of the way of a Braekhus right to the body. BIG RIGHT HAND by Mathis. A low slice to the body with Mathis' left. Braekhus grabs her and spins out. Stiff jab and a big right hand over the top by Mathis.

Braekhus is standing toe to toe with Mathis and trading with her, and gets DROPPED HARD while throwing a hook!! She looks more surprised than hurt. She rides out the round.
