I thought Burns was going to nick nick it on points, but that performance was quite simply phenomenal:shock:

Scotty Harrison should think twice about chasing Burns for his next fight IMO!

Thats what i thought Dunky, wasn't impressed at all by Scott and was blown away by Burnsey.

Although lets not get carried away, it's only Scotts second fight after a long lay off and its still very much about getting his timing back and blowing the cobwebs away.

Was it just me or did Scotts chin look suspect tonight? looked to be wobbled a couple of times...

well done Ricky, completely bossed the fight from start to finish, man against boy, Mitchell will NEVER be a world champion time from him to start work again at the railways instead of going on the **** two months before a world title fight!

I maintain his preparation was fine for Katsidis, he just wasn't in his league. Same for Burns it seems. Mitchell has some nice attributes - good jab, decent (though overrated) power, puts together nice combos - but he just isn't the package mentally or physically. He never will be.

Ricky Burns proved alot wrong i thought the fight was 50/50 but Mitchell would win but I am so impressed with Burns. Always knew he was a good fighter but he showed tonight he has power. I dont know where that come from but he should look for someone other than Scott Harrison. If he wants to unify the titles maybe the IBF against the winner of Vazquez v Quintero or the WBA route against Abril or Sharif Bogere. He should stay away from Adrian Broner and I think he might be pushing up to light welter within the next year imo... WELL DONE BURNS

Not sure why but was surprised by Ricky's size again even though he was massive against Kats and Kats is much bigger than Kevin.

Another very good performance from Ricky keeps improving every time.

Mitchell was poor for his standards I thought he boxed well in the first even having the more telling jab then he seemed to abandon it for the left hook. His defence was very poor especially to the right hand.

Rickys left hook was a peach though brilliant performance. Hope December he has another top opponent think we might be force feed Harrison though.
