Was talking about the style they fought. Like I mentioned before, to the posters that said something that today's boxers don't have the skills to fight like that. The art of boxing is to hit your opponent and don't allow him hit you back. Anyway you must be visiting some ****** bars, where you listen to ****** bieber, play darts and drink 4% beers (are you from UK?).

TOO ****ING SAFE. Too cushioned. Too cute. Too many belts. Too many 0's. Too many wimps. Too many egos. Too much motivation has been anesthetized by money. Too few boxers give a **** for reputation, or being given credit by anyone other than sycophants or tools.

    Too ****ing cute.

I certainly don't go to the sort of bars where the average bar fight looks like Bowe vs Holyfield, that's for sure. Wish I did, to be honest.

It's good for girls. When a group of guys go out to have some fun, they should watch a boxing match, drink vodka (40%), talk loud, laugh loud and after the fight is finished they should make a rematch- live, outside the bar.

Well, Holyfield would always stand and fight when placed under intense pressure. He wouldn't go into a defensive shell. This would leave openings for Riddick.Still, you have a point. Bowe would sometimes tire and instead of jabbing and resetting, would allow Holyfield to come back, with hooks on the inside...

Bowe could use his height and reach to box at a distance. But I think this was balanced against the fact that as great as puncher that he was,he was never the greatest boxer.

All things considered, at his best ,I think Bowe would have still gotten the edge over Holyfield if he did choose to fight from long range.

You're trying to criticize the manner in which this fight was fought. Are Today's Heavyweights Capable Of Fighting Like This? It's a simple answer; Yes or No. :D

Of course there are heavies fighting like that, but they are outside of top 20 in today's division so one needs to dig harder to find videos of their fights.

Anyone else realize how this is not really a good clip to show off "skill". Is there a single clean punch landing in this mess? A third misses, a third hits with the inside of the glove, the rest is rabbit punches. This is awful from a technical point of view.

Fighting your heart out is *NOT* a skill.
