Whoever said he was scared of Hatton or Baldo are ****ing ******ed. I can admit that I thought he was avoiding Shane, and I give him props for dominating his ass, but Shane's best days were behind him. Still, good win though. It made Floyd look better that Shane hurt him. I felt had Floyd won every second of every round it would have diminished the win.

Mayweather is ridiculous honestly. This guy is so wishy washy, he has wanted the fight and tried to make the fight on numerous occasions, he just wants testing that's all. He didn't say he is not going to fight him, he said he will not unless he is tested, because pac is suspicious. That's it. Does this mean he is scared? Yup it appears like it. He doesn't have the mental intelligence to compare Pac's fights when he fights boxers/counter punchers. He doesn't do as good against boxers period. Mayweather could dominate pac and at times he thinks so too and wants the fight... then he takes a step back, something happens in his life or some bs then he doesnt want to fight anymore.

Regardless he has wanted the fight, he tried to make it. But he is scared though, as Pac aint on roids.

 

The safety first style isn't going to inspire people to root for him. He's respected and despite his style and personality he's become incredibly successful in drawing big PPV number's of those who want to see him beaten. In relation to being 'The People's Champion' like Pacquiao (as you suggest), He tried that approach when the Olympics was over and despite putting on some of the best boxing clinics no one gave a ****. Then he destroyed media darling and fan favorite in Gatti and the rest is history.
