    Who's aura was more unbeatable.

Roy Jones Jr during his prime

    or

    Mike Tyson during his prime.

Yes we all know both lose to Prime Lewis, yada yada yada so leave him out of the ****ing discussion please.. But during their primes who had the more invincible aura? To me it's Tyson, Roy had an amazing aura as well, but it always had a feeling smell to it. You know? Tyson's aura was fresh and clean like mountain spring. Roy's seem just a bit contaminated, like if you drink too much of it you get diarrhea.

Pre-Buster Dpuglas, Tyson was widely considered an unstoppable wrecking machine, and possibly the GOAT.
Most people were just waiting for Jones to fight someone other than his mailman, barber, chauffeur, etc. etc. Long before Tarver there was a lot of talk about Roy's less than satisfactory punch resistance.

    Tyson.

For me a human wrecking machine will always have the unbeatable aura over a flashmeister.

It's easily Roy because he's one of the best P4P fighters of all time. Tyson was a savage but there's still a large percentage of people including myself who believe he would get beaten by a prime Ali. My boxing history sucks and at the top of my head I can't think of anyone who would be a big favorite over a prime RJJ.

Anyone who was following boxing (and probably 90% of who weren't) in the 80's knew one thing... Tyson was a beast and he was near unbeatable.
And there was the 80's timegeist wich really gave that common knowledge a huge boost.
After every fight he was the worldwide main subject of the next couple of days.
It was shocking world news when he lost and people didn't even believe it then, some even expecting the result would be overturned.

    Compare that to RJJ.

We aren't talking about now, we are talking about then

And at the time it has to be Tyson....people were predicting him to make 100 defences and **** like that, the man was a global phenomenon and people thought he was unbeatable, if you ask people now who barely know Tyson who the best HW ever is, the people who dont say Ali, will say Tyson, purely based off his reputation

    Really?

Did all three fight each other in their primes?

    I must have missed that.......

Oh you mean you believe they would lose to a prime Lewis but as none of these men actually fought each other in their primes its purely speculation on your part.

Good job on the hidden agenda :good

Difficult question. I think some of Tyson's opponent probably felt they at least had a chance prior to the fight, then became slightly overwhelmed when they came face to face with Tyson, so it was more of an immediate emotional response - 'this guy is one scary mother****er'.

Whereas with Roy, it was a logical conclusion that was known from the outset, they couldn't beat him because he was better than even his best peers in virtually every department. Roy didn't have the fear factor, he wasn't going to kill you like Tyson could, be most of his opponents were resigned to their fate when facing Roy, rather than overcome by fear when facing Tyson.

Tyson without a doubt. He was savage, nasty, hit like a wrecking ball and instilled fear like no other boxer ever has.

There wasn't a man alive who wasn't scared of that power.

Tyson because while Roy took his time putting down drug addicts and civil servants. Tyson blasted them out in a round or two. Also Tyson never caught on steroids so when considered without steroids people don't fear RJJ as much even in his prime
