Bute would like the fight to 175. He's killing himself to do 168 judging from the sleepless night before the Froch fight weight-in.

 

I like how first he drains Sad Chad and shatters his jaw, then he targets some drunk has been and will drag him to oakland once more. I respect that he wants to move up and I respect his achievements at 168 and that he wants to ease in to 175, but don't try and dress up Pavlik as a top figher. It's ridiculous nono:nono

 

or maybe he'll drain Marco Huck or Yoan Pablo Hernandez to lhw then claim he's better than Ali.

I don't know the reasons for the move but he was at 81 already in 2002. But as you said, if anyone knows what he is doing it's Ward.

 

There is better names at 160 that will eventually move up. L.heavy is a weak division.

 

Why drain a LHW down to SMW if you wanna continue to 175?
He would've gotten the LHW belts to, he's gonna vacate the ones from 168 if he goes up.
