Andre Ward Considering Pavlik Fight and Move to Light Heavyweight

    Slim pickings at SMW at this stage, sure. But what's at LHW?

    Cloud, Cleverly, Pascal, Dawson again? That's about it. I don't really see the point.

    Apart from Cloud, is anyone there a better fight than maybe Froch again, Bute, Pavlik, Dirrell or maybe even younger guys like Groves when they progress at SMW?


    One thing is clear though. Ward will dominate either of those divisions for a long, long time.

    LHW is a garbage weight class. One of the best fighters is an off-duty Haitian policeman FFS, and even journeyman plodder Johnson got a title shot every 3 months:lol::rofl:patsch

    Ward is best staying at SMW and fighting Dirrell and the up-and-coming Groves.

    :lol: there is no way in hell Bute is going to even make it past the 8th round vs Froch

    and who the hell iss GGG. He needs to actually beat somebody first before Ward is obligated to fight him. I doubt Ward even knows who he is.

    And Ward said he'd like to fight Chavez Jr, but he's coming off a loss and doesn't seem to want to come up in weight anymore

    Please Ward do not fight Pavlik, you might as well fight Cloud, Pascal, Hopkins, Cleverly, Froch, Kessler, Dirrell, Bute, Bellew, Miranda, Campilo.

    Beating up washed up drunks is not how real champs should behave.
