best argentine fighter

Another one of my favorites was Gustavo"Mandrake"Ballas he used to pull off some moves that remind me of Locche, IMO hes an underrated defensive fighter.

 

Probably just outside it for mine.

I'd rate the following above him:

Carlos Monzon
Nicolino Locche
Pascual Perez
Victor Galindez
Santos Laciar
Jorge Fernandez
Horacio Accavallo
Jorge Ahumada
Luis Federico Thompson
Eduardo Lausse

Then he's in the mix with the likes of:

Gregorio Peralta
Manuel Alvarez
Rocky Rivero
Hugo Corro
Sergio Martinez
and a few others too..

 

Justo Suarez deserves a mention

 

Beat Aaron Davis, Winky Wright, Carl Daniels and put forth a very good showing against Whitaker. A dozen of so title defenses. Not too shabby.

 

This is obvious, the best was Carlos Monzon.
