I've read that Tommy Loughran's power was straight laughable, which made his technical brilliance all the more awe inspiring.

That's interesting about Loughran. I knew he couldn't crack, but the term "laughable" puts a new spin on it.

The first one to come to my mind is Billy Conn. He has a 20% KO ratio. Not good for a guy who fought at such a high level, but like in Loughran's case, it makes him that much more intriguing to know he did it all with very little power.

Mike Quarry is another. Another name mentioned from time to time is Mike Hunter. Chris Byrd was not going to stop many top 10 fighters. Or Buster Mathis jr. would not have stopped as many as the Byrdman, come to think of it.

Surprised to see Vonzell Johnson on your list, J. If memory serves, he was touted as one more Philly left-hooker who could crack big time.
