"I've never said that Manny Pacquiao was taking steroids, I never said he was taking enhancement drugs," said Mayweather, who failed to turn up for a court-ordered deposition in Las Vegas earlier this month involving the defamation suit.

"I want to fight the best they got out there, not just him, the best they got out there," Mayweather said, "and if he's on the list as one of the best guys, then absolutely."

It hasn't cleared his name though, all Mayweather has done is repeat what he said over a year ago in that he didn't say Pacquiao was using steroids. People will still continue to question why he turned down a $40 million drugs test and he will have to step up and take the tests Mayweather wants if the fight is to happen.

The $114 Mayweather had to pay was because he didn't even bother turning up in court, not because anything had been proven one way or another.

Bladegunner was right in what he said, it's been a complete nothing case that has petered out to the point that both Pacquiao and Mayweather dropped their suits and ended up paying their own fee's.atsch

the test is no problem for 2 years already. pac has agreed to it countless of times and it was floyd's countless excuses like losing his urge, going on vacations, not sharing of PPV, not focused on fighting, losing 15 pounds of muscles, etc.. that's holding the fight until now.

now the court ordered floyd to pay that said amount for ducking the deposition. then we heard them settling the case with an undisclosed terms. more probably, floyd's camp settled, just like what oscar did before. of course they have to still pay the $113,000 that the court has ordered and probably some more plus the statement where the mayweathers are backtracking on their previous words.
