too many to even think of...

I'd say Ali v Louis and Tyson v Marciano for HWs...

Zale v Hagler or Hagler v Benn

I always thought Britain's Ernie Roderick v Fritzie Zivic.

    McAvoy v Walker or Greb

    Lynch v Wilde

    Lewis v Big Klit II

and for me Gilroy v Burley circa 1942 (it could've happened, Charley Rose invited Gilroy to America then).

    Eric Boon v Henry Armstrong

    loads & loads to imagine!

To settle an old question, prime for prime, Ali-Louis.

And it would be a decent scrap as well.

OK it's a deal...One of the greatest slam bang fights I saw was in 1946 when Britain's Heavyweight Bruce Woodcock, took on one of my favourite action heavyweight Tami Mauriello at MSG...Oh my what a fantasy brawl
it was with tough Tami koing Woodcock in the 5th round...Cheers.

Woodcock was apparently leading that bout until he led with his chin and Tami wasted no time at seeing the opening. Woodcock got plenty of praise too for it bar that foolish moment.

How do you remember him, generally speaking?
