i wish more boxers fought like jeff lacy. that way alot more boxing matches would be entertaining. nothing worse than watching a calzaghe type hopping around the ring coked up bouncing around the ring and cant punch.

12 rounds of that can be mind numbingly boring. or two guys with solid chins fighting each other but neither can punch their way out of a wet paper bag zzzzzzzzzzzz...

jeff was one of my favorite fighters to watch back then...good chin and above average power...he fell in love with his power though even though he had solid boxing skills and that was the beginning of the end..calzaghe beats the **** out of him and then he tears his shoulder up in his comeback fight and he was done just like that....got more musclebound and slower and his fights were appallingly bad and sad to watch..damn shame

Lacy was not a fraud, rather a huge talent that never reached his full potential.

That's what career-threatening injuries will do to a fighter.

He shouldn`t of gone in against Calzaghe especially on hometurf simple as that. What after only 14 fights, lunatic decision imo.He took Calzaghe way too lightly as it showed in the fight getting battered.

Wow... so much hate... even now... months after Bute was pulverised...

    ...sad and worrying.

Why did you have to bring Bute up in this tread?

...except because of your obsession with him?

And no, Lacy was not the biggest fraud ever.

    **** thread.

Because of his vast similarities in hype with Lacy?

    Ok I'm just kidding...

Bute was by far the biggest jelly jawed fraud ever. Jeff Lacy at least had a chin.
