First the ESPN call-out and the offer of 55%-45%, plus the "anything he wants" agreement on drug testing and now a victory (settlement) in his defamation case.

Soon it will be clear even to the casual fan that Floyd just doesn't want it.

I'm talking about his recent public statement that was required as part of the terms of his settlement with PAC to avoid court.

Every man makes mistakes.....the men with character try to make right the wrong they've done. Some are forces....others do it on their own merit.... Floyd was forced but it wasn't easy either way. He did it and should be given some praise.

I honestly didn't expect anything more than a statement put out by one of his reps. It's clearly something he NEVER wanted to do and said he'd NEVER end up doing so having to eat Crow is hard enough.

Floyd could have avoided all the financial repercussions and embarrassment had he never made the mistake. But there's no use crying over spilled milk....had he admitted wrong when GBP did...it would have been better for everyone but Floyd was a different person back then.

Obviously Jail has changed the man for the better. Which is great....that's not always the case and to be honest...I wasnt sure if Floyd would come out of this better or worse.

  6. LOL still on the tests.

Pacquiao said take the blood on the night of the fight, he just wants Mayweather's ass in that ring.

Floyd needs to step up grow a pair and sign up to fight Pacquiao, no more excuse Floyd

Sad? More like get real, the money guys will call the shots. If you wanna fight Pac, you come to 147, his 7th division. You wanna fight Ward, you come to 168, his first, etc.

That punk in your avatar dragged this midget 12lbs while he only had to drop 3, that's what being the money guy gets you. It don't buy you brains though.

I don't get this point, what in that prepared statement is different from what floyd said about pac not being on PEDS before?

Article dated june 2011, ESPN interview. Floyd mayweather quote.

"I've never said that Manny Pacquiao was taking steroids, I never said he was taking enhancement drugs," said Mayweather, who failed to turn up for a court-ordered deposition in Las Vegas earlier this month involving the defamation suit.

"I want to fight the best they got out there, not just him, the best they got out there," Mayweather said, "and if he's on the list as one of the best guys, then absolutely."

Whoa....I never said Floyd meant ANYTHING...I just said I'm taking it at face value. If Floyd said he loves his own "momma" I wouldn't bet my life on him actually meaning it. Not because a son shouldn't love his own mother...but Floyd has a track record of saying things that end up being completely untrue.

The statement that was recently released isn't the same as what he said before.....Sure...he gave PAC credit for being a great fighter and he mentioned before that he NEVER directly accused PAC of anything, but those were words and actions of a desperate man looking to get out of trouble.

Floyd's already PAST trouble. He's now in a new place in life and trying to move forward. And these are the first steps he's taking as a new man. Respect!

Did Pac agree to 40 million fix rate? It is not what i saw. I saw that Pac is fighting JMM4 in December is what i saw and a counter offer.

  15. Did Mayweather agree to his $50 million fix rate?

    It not what I saw.

I saw Floyd making excuse how much weight he has loss and and how he might never fight again and him going on yet another vacation:rofl
