Would This Guy Have Disrupted The Klitschkos Dominance?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by D4thincarnation, Sep 26, 2012.

  1. With a record of 20 fight and 20 wins, 15 by KO, 0 draws and zero losses, he was tipped to be a future heavyweight champ.

Standing 6 foot 2 and weighing in around 235lbs and in great condition he was a formidable force.

Stopped future World champion Chris Byrd in the 5th and and a WAR with David Tua where both of them went punch for punch, proven his granite jaw and coming away with a Great victory.

He had the power, the chin and the skills, so if not for The President's legal woes would Ike Ibeabuchi beating the Klitschkos?:bbb

Ibeabuchi was better than both Klitschkos. Assuming he could stay mentally fit and focused, he'd have beat them both and dominated the division without many problems.

too small to compete with the K-bros

  5. Had a great work rate as well.

Taken all those punches from Tua, may have contributed to his mental problems.

Amazing how his chin held up, Tua was a monster puncher.

  6. LOL, have you seen this guy?

Weighs about the same as Wlad.

Boxing on even terms against Tua doesn't equate to boxing on equal terms against either Klitschko.

He's got a great chin and is a good fighter, but I think the Tua fight gave him brain damage.

He had a lot of potential, but started seeing things after fighting Tua.

who knows. he could have been a wrecking machine, or could have been a sam peter

  10. Anyone that took those punches from Tua would have had brain damage.

His work rate alone would have troubled the K brothers

weighing as much as someone doesn't mean you beat them :rofl

Wlad has the height and reach advantages, decent speed and footwork for his size, not to mention that jab of his

it would look like Wlad-Peter, maybe a bit more competative

  12. They are the same size, and Ike was not some fat bloke.

Ike had good hand speed, a much better chin and would out work Wlad easy

And have you seen him fight, by what you are saying I going to say you havn't

Yes. I would for sure favor him over Wald. He'd have more difficulty with a prime Vitali, but I give him the edge there as well.

Shame he went crazy and went to jail.
