I'm not with those geek ass trolls that say Kessler was shot before facing Ward because that makes no sense to me...I undestand your points about him being more focused after a loss, but being realistic...I just dont think he fought that version that Calz. had faced...I think Ward will give it to Kessler at any point in their career....Ward is just a bad style for Kessler. He was named the fav. going into the super 6 tounament for a reason...He still was a damn good fighter, thats why!:good
Yet he beat undefeated Carl Froch plus another 2 ko wins 3 years after Calzaghe. That sounds like a fighter who lost to the best and not a fighter with physical afflictions.
lol by the fresher version, Joe faced the younger version of kessler, but doubt he was better then the more experienced kessler. The more experienced kessler would ktfo of the younger kessler Joe faced.
Kessler is definetly smarter now, thats for sure. When he was young and reckless he was happy to give away home advantage and hometown refereering advantages to guys like Joe Cal.He was fearless and a bit stupid like that. But the experience made him wiser, and he now tends to take tougher fights at hme where he has the advantage. So in that sense he has definitely improved.
:rofl:rofl you're definitely a ward fan. so stupid it hurts. if you don't get what he was saying, then you should just give up now.
there was nothing wrong with kesslers right hand in that fight as you can well see. calzaghe fought lacy with a bad hand. it happens with all fighters. they never get in the ring 100%.
I think some of it was down to confidence. Kess revelled in his undefeated status and may even have felt that he only had himself to blame for choosing to give Zaghes the home ref advantage.
