Ward Fought A Better Kessler Than Calzaghe

so there was a problem with the ref in the calzaghe fight now? please do tell me what that problem was? :think

 

****ing deluded in the extreme. kessler didn't gas out at all. and wasn't winning the fight early either. it was competitive. there's a huge difference.

 

no one said he was shot. just that he had lost a few steps. which is true. everyone was talking about it.

ward had a huge advantage with all the holding and headbutting. the ref did nothing. he should have been DQ'd. end of story.

 

he beat froch and not calzaghe because joe is a much much better fighter, numb nuts.

plus there was no cheating in the froch fight. it was fair and squire win. ward cheated in his fight with kessler with no warnings what so ever.

couldn't read any more after the fist bit. kessler was reckless when he was younger!? now i know that you know nothing about kessler at all. you've seen a couple of his fights, max.

Kessler couldn't spar in the lead up to that fight. His hand was hurt.

Agreed that few fighters enter the ring 100%.

 

Anyone with eyes can see that Calzaghe faced a better version of Kessler than Ward did.

Or alternatively you can use boxrec, not watch the fights & start threads like this one

 

First of all Kessler was good against Calzaghe but not in the best form!
He didn't spare the last 14 days to the fight in Wales.
Was afraid of losing the shot at Calzaghe and the biggest payday he had ever seen.
Kessler has a great hart end he thought that he could win over Calzaghe anyway.
Especially after round 7 Kessler was out of air after the high tempo start.
You lose some timing in the punches to if your not sparring.
Still sad that Joe didn't give a rematch!

Against Ward it was an older and more experienced Kessler.
Still he was not prepared for Wards mind-games before the fight
Hand-wraps were suddenly not OK and the long waiting time before the fight.
The ref was a joke and the Head butts nasty.
Looked like Ward didn't needed those thing for the win but...
But with one bad eye Kessler did well in the end of the fight..
The Kessler against Ward should be better but then again...
who can fight normal after all the head-butts and the very bad ref?

How can some of you say the eye injurie was fake?

 

i heard he didn't spar for the last few days of sparring so as to not make a sore hand worse. that's nothing really. there's been much worse than that over the years.
