The first six rounds he was nowhere close to Brook...It was only when Brook had his nose bust up and was swallowing blood that Jones managed to catch up to him.
Yer and how did Brook get his nose busted? I rate Jones and at the end of the day...its Lee Purdy! He was woeful against Lynes and didn't exactly coat himself in glory against Vassell either.
people go on about Jones' improvement over the years but Purdy has come along leaps and bounds too, should be well worth watching whatever happens
Brook boxed well for 6 rounds, Purdy cant box, not a fringe world level anyway. It will be competitive but Jones will be to strong and hit to hard. Jones by stoppage.
Purdy will always acquit himself well against brawlers, I think Jones will stop him late on, but Purdy will have his moments.
