1. Jones Jr. 2. Kirkland 3. Green 4. Ortiz 5. Fraudley 6. J. M. Lopez 7. Maccarinelli 8. Litzau 9. Hatton 10. Dawson
I don't know about Dawson. I think I would put Linares in his place. Mitchell and Molina are under close watch.
Amir Khan has an abysmal glass jaw, but he got up within 15 seconds every time he got floored. Roy Jones was completely asleep after getting floored by Glen Johnson. Anyway, good list. It's good to see someone talking about Chin, the most important asset any boxer should have.
Why has Mike Jones vanished from the list? Damn, chin checking in this place has gone down hill. Turbotime made a better list than you all.
Being down and having a glass chin are two entirely different things. Take Israel Vasquez for example...
Guys, the glass jaw rankings are for boxers who have a good level of general talent but can not take a punch. Guys like Allan Green and Ronald Hearns have NO talent whatsoever. If you put them in the rankings, then I could find you a thousand bums who have losing records and have been KOed dozens of times.
The range-seeking jab that Prescott demolished Khan with would NOT have KOed anyone! Glass-jaw-deniers have no legs to stand on. At best, they have rubbery legs. I'm talking about the punch that turned Khan's legs to jelly, at 0:42 [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shUqYIkMXu0[/ame]
Maccarinelli should be #1. A gust of wind can blow him over nowadays. Why is Audley in there? He's only been stopped twice, one was with a massive shot that would have KO'd anyone and the other was by Haye, who stopped Chisora, who is widely regarded as having a very good chin.
Kirkland is lucky there is an Amir Khan otherwise he would be #1. His Chin is one of the worst in the Sport. Never have I seen a fighter Obliterated so fast by such a weak puncher.
