Proksa massively outperformed Geale vs DG's second best opponent. Geale will either fight GG and settle the question, or drop the WBA belt which will also say something.

I don't know. Do you have the numbers from when Macklin headlined in the Garden?

Why were you elsewhere defending Soliman as a legitimate mandatory defense while also trying to draw negative implications about Geale if he gets stripped of the WBA belt? If the WBA sticks to their word this time, it looks very likely he'll have to pick one or the other.

The WBA seems to have changed their tack since GG joined K2 promos, they must be putting some pressure on them. For one, they mandated HNN GG this year and got HNN to drop his interim belt. They also put pressure on Sturm to unify with Geale, so as to put off the GG mandatory shot. If he'd won, Sturm coulda dropped the WBA belt. Besides, there's a purse bid ordered for DG GG, and Shaw said they're willing to drop a belt if need be

Top Rank would atleast have the resources to put in their own independent shows and they are the best in the business at promoting.

What fighters did Pelullo have on the card to be the main promoter?

what's not logical is Dibella response of"who gives a flying ****" thats what your defending here.

It's on record that HBO did not get the Cotto- Trout card bc they wanted a 2 fight deal. they did not want to put up 3.5 mil to then have Cotto -Canelo on Showtime. Goldenboys new home, oh and guess is co-promoting Cotto-Trout with Cotto promotions? I'll give you an insider hint. They also put on local shows in Puerto Rico....

Really. And he was the headliner? judging from those numbers that had to be the theater and not the actually Garden. Was that his only show in the Garden?

Yes they did say what the number was and Dibella did say no, after telling Pirog's people that he needed 6 million.

Pirog is a champ in the division and is calling out Martinez, period. What would be a good fight for Macklin and Barker is irrelevant, because he is calling out the best. He called out GGG and was going to fight, then had a injury, now he is back and trying to fight a top fighter in teh division again.

Dibella and Marinez played themselves. He admits to rejecting a career high payday for Sergio and a opportunity to unify.

    Because they are bitches.

They are the best at promoting fighters with natural fan bases. There's no reason to believe they'd be any better for those fighters without those fans. Further, putting on independent PPV shows would not have done a guy trying to gain exposure any good at all. Yes Martinez got stripped as a result of bending to HBO's will, but being aired by the network was far more important for him at that point in his career and I don't think even those promoters capable of carrying independent shows would have disagreed with that, especially coming off a knockout of the year.

He co-promotes Dzinziruk with Shaw and the network's obligation to him was the main reason the card got created in the first place. He also promotes Pirog who the date was originally promised to.

I don't think it's illogical at all to not happily return to the same pre-PPV level of opponent, at least not immediately.

Well he certainly was the bigger gate draw than Martinez in that venue.

From a business standpoint he's right. And usually and unfortunately the business side wins. But Team GGG knows that. More heads must roll and Golovkin will be busy doing that. He is the WBA champ afterall. He has a reason to call out anyone. GGG VS GEALE must happen. Then Martinez-Chavez II winner will be forced to fight GGG, of course, if Geale doesn't upset GGG!

 And then he goes on to say" why don't they get thier fighter on US TV or something." So K2 get GGG on US TV he gets a good KO and that's still not good enough.
