If Sergio is forced to bow down to Floyd's demands and come down to 150 to fight Floyd, how much credit would you give Floyd if he wins?

    Jan 2012:
"If Sergio Martinez can make 150, let’s make the fight happen," Mayweather told Iole. "Like I said, there are no excuses. I’m a little different than other guys. He’s got a very, very impressive style."

Martinez could make 147 and Floyd wouldnt fight him !!!!

Why did he not hold Cotto to a CW?

If Martinez does go to 150 then more fool him, but one would suggest its more rubbish from Floyd

I would as it's a harder fight than Manny at any weight, including 147.

Sergio is much more dangerous then Manny. His style would give Floyd more problems and he can change his game up from time to time.

Sergio is the one who originally offered to come down to 150 though.

Also, I would like to see it at 155 for the 160 title but if he did this then he would still get hated on because he did it 5 pounds under the division weight.

Oscar and Bhop fought at 156 for the 160 title but Floyd is held to higher standards than Oscar. I think it would be fair though, as Floyd is smaller than Oscar and Sergio is smaller than Bhop.

Sergio is the one who offered to come down. He is a grown man and should not make offers that will hurt him to the point your saying.

Personally, I would rather see it at 155 for the 160 title but then he would get hated on again, for taking a catchweight.

It was Sergio that offered 150 :patsch

Also if the fight did happen at 150 lbs I would give floyd very little credit.

    depends how he looks.

Floyd made his own grrave, by spewing on about how he likes to fight fighters at there best.

So he would be a hypocrite if he made sergio come down.

Depends how he fights when he comes down to 150. Probably be drained. He knows the deal and wants the payday. Is this fight even on Floyd's radar

154lbs or nothing IMO. Martinez doesn't make 150lbs at this point.

Yes, Sergio offered 150, so the "forced" part is inaccurate, I agree.

At 155, I'd still give Floyd some credit but at 158+, Floyd should be given full credit.

Floyd would weigh in at 151 for the fight at 155 or 158.

So do you discredit Oscar for fighting Hopkins at 156 then?

If Oscar won, I wouldn't have given him full credit.

    Hell no.

The guy is cut to shreads at 160 and would have nothing left at 150. Even 154 would lessen a win.
