    No doubt they picked a bad approach to shedding weight. He had the luxury of working with the best talent in the training camp tho, Nacho, Dundee, genius Schaefer overseeing things. Strange how it went so wrong.

    Sure it isn't just 3lbs, but tell me, who do you expect to have a harder time with the weight:

    1. the career welter (or lower) trying to make 147 after having a tuneup at 150
    2. a guy who came into his own at 160 where he's fighting presently, with no accomplishments below 154, trying to make 150

    He fought cotto at 154 and oscar, should just do the same now. Martinez only saying 150 to get floyd interested.

    How much credit are you gonna give Floyd if he ducks out of the fight altogether?

    no, it doesnt matter who called who out first. floyds already had two title bouts at the full weight of 154 and is the champ there. floyd don't do catchweights, remember?

    Uh, so plus point for entertaining a fight? How about wait to give credit until the contracts are signed

    @150 Sergio would be ****ed...
    Fight would have to be @ a solid 154/ or better yet a catch 154-159lbs.
    (Floyd would qualify for a MW Belt)

    make this fight happen at 158 cw on cinco de mayo 2013 and it will be an epic competitive fight :yep:deal

    154 is the limit for sergio , under 154 he'll lose his G'ness & sexy'ness :deal

    No it's not. By FACT Sergio would not be MADE to come down. That is how YOU interprete it dummy. SO again, it is on Sergio to come down to 150 as he offered just as it was on Chad to come down to 168 as he offered.

    If Sergio would be drained and it is bad for his career then why offer?

    Also, then Margarito was drained and though I give Manny no credit for that fight anyways, I give him even less than the very little credit I did give him. Now come back and make excuses for Manny like a ******* would.

    Sergio is not Shane.. :nono Even a prime Shane doesn't match today's version of Sergio.. :deal

    Sergio defeated guys like Williams, Pavlik, and Chavez Jr.. And Shane's most impressive win was against? Oscar? :-(

    Even though both boxers have the similarity with some numbers doesn't mean they are the same..

    Sergio Martinez > Shane Mosley by a mile.. :smoke
