If you actually watch whole fights and not just a Ali highlights in youtube.
You would see Slomo Liston had no trouble hitting Ali... ONCE Ali was close.
The only time Ali really showed reflexes was on the long distance.

Gotta laugh at how ali from all the older fighters get a bye every time from some, Is is by any chance because he is American ?, and much of the hate vs wald is because while indeed he is a bit boring and robotic, is an east euro who outside the ring is very quiet and not the wild type that ali was

For the record i think ali would beat him if he did everything right, but if he let the sheer size and power of wlad get going, by pushing down on him, holding and using his heavy arse jab for me ali would get in trouble, if he tried a rope a dope vs wlad he would be Koed (stands by for the hate)
