Sergio Martinez Dislikes "Strange" Cotto, Says He'll Fight Him For Free

    Just a boxer using basic formula to land a big fight is all I see. They'll fight and at the end of it Sergio will shake his hand, smile, and share a water bottle with Cotto. Good times.

    That's because he wants to continue to land big fights. The insults are working. Look at how Cotto, a normally relaxed guy, responded. Sergio pissed off Chavez Jr and Sr. And now that the fight is over there is no animosity (until a rematch begins). It's all business. Sergio is a nice dude. Just listen to what he had to say during his last post fight interview with Kellerman. Nothing but class.

    Martinez has been pissed off at Cotto for a year and a half because he claims Cotto refused to shake his hand when they met in person.

    Agree, he seems to be getting bolder, he needs to step out of his normal reserved polite self to get attention. The guy is getting old, has been dodged by name fighters. He wants paydays at this point in his career, got to call out the big dogs.

    If Martinez really wants to cement himself as the top dog in boxing, there is a fighter by the name of Andre Ward just waiting for him a few pounds north. **** all the bull****, Martinez would increase his stock considerably for even taking this fight.

    Ward realizes how ridiculous it is to ask a blown up JMW like Sergio to come up to 168, why can't you? Ward also said he cannot cut below 168 therefor the fight is not happening. If Ward could get down to 164 Sergio would be all over but he can't and won't. END OF>

    Ward don't have to ask **** from anybody. This is Martinez's choice. What makes you think Ward should be asking Martinez to move up?

    He seemed to have genuine dislike of Jr, and I wouldn't blame him he was gifted his belt. After the fight it was all hugs n kisses, so who knows what he really thinks of Jr. With him calling out mayweather with statements like I will break your face, now Cotto. It looks like a guy trying to get fights.
