If its genuine, then how come Floyd stopped short along the way and never continued challenging Pac as what most boxers will do. Instead of pursuing the fight by both, it was followed by nonstop BS accusations such as peds issues or split ppv revenues that leads to nowhere. If Floyd was sincere in his words since from the start, this fight should have done by now just like any other fights.

Well Manny was just wasting everyone's time with his cutoff BS so Floyd wasn't going to waste his own time.

it was floyd who fielded that BS excuse.

floyd claimed he lost 15 pounds in jail. then he mentioned he is not focused on fighting. this was after 50, his good pal, ants to arrange the fight sometime in december or early next year. 50 said, floyd needs more time.

Maybe he isn't focused on fighting? I predicted when he was sentenced he'd take a while before getting back in the ring, or probably even retire. Neither would surprise me since the Pac fight is worthless at this point.

  9. It was GBP that was the problem all along. Not Arum.

so it's ok for floyd not to fight pacquiao since it's worthless now but fighting ortiz was full of worth? then why not make pacquiao as a tune-up for martinez since floyd just got out of jail? they were even giving floyd enough time until early of next year.

floyd should just announce his retirement then and not to take long vacations as always when there are perceived threats.

I highly doubt he fights Martinez- It's going to most likely be Canelo then maybe a Cotto rematch to unify 154 after Cotto gets by Trout (if he does)

well floyd said he is ok with a martinez fight if he would go down to 150. martinez might grab this chance for the money. i have no problem with a cotto fight but cotto is just too past it now and is slow as **** at 154. canelo, that's nice and floyd should try to get him now otherwise, his old tactic of making his opponent old and washed-up first would backfire against canelo.

Cotto isn't that slow at 154 IMO he was piecing Margo up with nice 3 and 4 punch combos. He looked slow against Floyd because that's the effect Floyd's style has with most guys. Trust, Cotto will look faster against Trout in December :yep

I hate the Martinez fight at 150. 154-160 or bust :good

cotto looked slow as **** compared to his prime days at WW. and he had so much wars and wear and tear now. he looks fast compared to margarito of course. cotto didn't looked fast against mayorga either. there's a reason why floyd would not touch him back in 2008.

well, floyd said he would take the fight at 150. :yep
