Do anyone know how hard was George Foreman trained in his second career. In some fights his body looks in good shape(fight with quawy he was 235lbs) but in many others fights he looked in bad shape. He admitted that in fights with Morrison and stewart he wasn't in fulll training.I am just courious if he was lazy and not very disciplined in terms of training and nutrition?

from what I've read he changed it up a lot up in terms of traditional boxing training was concerned. giving his age he wasn't gonna be doing hours in hours of road work in sparring. lots of walking, heavy bag training and weight lifting... designed forgot you didn't the best stamina in the world of the time. what he needed were short bursts of power and the ability to stay in a fight long enough to get the job done. some frightening footage of him doing preacher curls his biceps were ridiculously huge at his peak

Foreman vs Holyfield fight was in April of 91. Big George
did like his burgers haha. He looked good in the Cooney
fight as well. He had the power to stop most people in
His comeback, even hurt Holy pretty bad. George
even in his comeback was tricky with the hook/uppercut
Hybrid. I believe thats what rocked Cooney. But
it took a lot for a 40 year old to go the distance with Holy,
one round George ate 20 flush power shots and kept on
Ticking. Agree Luke that was probably the best shape
    he was in.

i think it was 89-then phyisicaly, but overall the holyfield fight was easily his peak of the comeback years.
