I must confess, if there is no such thing as perfection in the ring then the 122lb Gomez must come pretty close, at 122lb Marco's baby faced assassin persona would probably get him into some trouble, The Minced faced assassinated may be his more suitable moniker after this, up at 126lb Marco incorporated more of the Ring General approach, albeit given a bad blood rivalry like with Morales he could revert in flashes, but at 122lb, if McKinney could give him a war, then much more cultured and versatile Wilfredo might make like a surgeon with a very sharp scalpel , for me Marco in the usual role of Hunter may be lured into traps by Gomez, a Gomez quite happy operating off the back foot,
Marco will have trouble finding Wilfredo in his "Track-to-Whack" approach, - But wilfredo will always know where to find Marco....Marco may walk onto educated Counters all night, these counters would become combinations when Wilfredo felt the time right, Marco is a fierce competitor, so would be an exciting spectacle, but ultimately one-sided i fear, a late stoppage for Wilfredo i think, the Assassin runs out of Bullets ...and Wilfredo has his Bazooka !

( At 126 its a whole new ball game, )

No one could touch Bazooka Gomez at 122, not even MAB, whom I'm a huge fan of otherwise. Before he became overly intoxicated with his punching power (post-Zarate), the perfect fighter.esp. at 122 could very well have been Gomez. He butchers, bludgeons and eventually stops MAB even more conclusively than did Pacman. Probably by round 7.

Lora - Hi and thank you very much for the Comp ! - Its probably that rarity of a match that a few more pounds could turn it on its head, ( it becomes The Bazooka with a rusty firing pin Vs the Baby Faced Professor ???? )
    - I will try to maintain the Genius !!!!!

    Thanks Again

    :hi: Nice typo

Great post though, at 122 I'd take Gomez over Barrera and Morales 100%.

MAB was a sucker for right hands as showed in the McKinney and Jones fights, Bazooka's right cross was one of the most powerful punches ever, Barrrera gets caught coming in with one of Wilfredo's rights and gets knocked out.

Gomez will be the favourite but I think he has his hands full with the Barrera that lost very close to Morales at 122 lbs, that is a fight I wouldn`t bet big on tbh.

Morales would take Gomez heart & ram it up his ass though, I don`t think Gomez can knock Morales out & I don`t see him out-willing him.... I think Erk can break Gomez down.
