Oh I see your point." If it wasn't for Jones questioinable chin ", you'd pick him to CLOWN my boy !!! Like saying that if NOT for Einstein's BRAIN. he would fail at school...If not for Joe Louis's dynamite laden hands ,Louis was a slow dancer...If not for willie Pep's great moving skills, he would be an average puncher....If, if, if... The darn fact is Jones's chin could not cope with top heavyweight hitters. And the darn fact is that the strongest P$P heavyweight ever, who paralised his opponents wherever he hit them would catch up to the MUCH smaller weaker Roy Jones and batter him terribly...As a Dick Tiger would catch up to a much smaller, better boxing Floyd Mayweather and demolish him.. That is why we have different weight classes...
Jones was about the same size as Rocky for most of his career. Jones will probably win every second of the fight during the first 8 rounds.
Sir, TRY ME OUT ! So brave of you to all me senile...So BRAVE... Einstein ,when was the last time YOU admitted you were WRONG ? What I have forgotten in boxing history, you Sonny will never aquire ! Go now and play with your yo yo !
The last refuge of a scoundrel. To call someone older SENILE, cause I voice an opinion contrary to yours...I can still whip your rump Mr CLASS...
I don't think any version of RJJr beats Marciano. I do give the 160 - 168 Roy Jones Jr the most chance to decision him in 12 but not 15. The light heavy and heavyweight versions I give no chance. Roy's speed and reflexes would frustrate the Rock in the early rounds and his punches probably just annoy Marciano. Might cut him up at that weight. That I think is Roy's best chance to stop the Rock. On cuts late. He would need to be on his bicycle and run for his life the whole fight. Stay far away and well out of the Rock's punching range. Not an easy task either because Marciano would beat on almost anything he caught with his power hooks on both sides. Hips, arms, ribs wherever. All it would take is one good body shot from Marciano and Jones is in a whole other world of trouble he never seen in his career. RJJr's' undoing would be that lazy low left hand. Rocky would catch him around the 7th or 8th round with a hard right hand on top and that would be the end.
Jones hit as hard as Moore or Charles, even if Moore does have the record for knocking out the highest number of cans
We did see Jones in that kind of trouble in his career, and we saw that he doesn't have the resistance, the defence or the recovery powers to weather a storm like the Rock would bring
Oh now you wanna fight me!!!..good lord!..Your barkin up the wrong tree sir. Id hate to have to make your wife a widow in 13 seconds or less...For an old man you really need to grow the **** up...But if you ever make it to ST Louis..let me know, I would love to see you Santa
Yeah, because catching prime Jones with a lunging right hand from a sideways crouch is just so easy, isn't it? Why didn't anyone else try that? And you're kidding yourself if you think Jones couldn't hurt Marciano. Marciano got dropped by a weak right hand from Moore, who was moving backwards when he threw it. Jones has certainly thrown much harder punches than the one Moore dropped Marciano with.
