Did anyone see Povetkin's expression when the interviewer brought up Klitschko?

:rofl Tell me these are jokes! :patsch

I mean, both are steps up from old fat shot Rahman, but baby steps...

Honestly, I got semi-erect when they showed an interested Denis Lebedev sitting ringside...thinking maybe they were planning on having him move up to challenge Povetkin, since he'd actually legitimately be a liver body than any top ranked natural heavy.

(nah, j/k, it was because he's so darn handsome...)

From the sound of things, it's a good thing I didn't watch this sideshow of a fight.

Povetkin mustn't be blamed for this. The WBA made Rahman an OC and ordered the fight...

If you remotely a) ever liked Rahman at all, b) dislike Povetkin, or c) prefer heavyweight title bouts to be competitive - it would have made you very angry.

Well Rahman looked pretty good in 1st, but his punch resistance went out the window.
Good stoppage bearing this is a "World Championship bout" not too early, wish referee would have given Rahman a standing count when he wouldn't let go of the ropes.

Good point. And it's not his fault either. Let's just be glad the Holyfield fight never materialized.:-(

Then again......he could squeeze a voluntary in before being stripped for ducking Wladimir:think
