Coming off a loss? He'll have to prove his worth against another string of gatekeepers. Nascimento types. Maybe by 2017.

Same here, but Amir may just be able to fight...so he may be a risk.

What a shameful bout. Not only Rahman had problems with his legs, he also had been in hospital the day before the fight. I'm sorry for him, honestly, he was clearly out of shape and had some health issues. Being a punching bag for a mediocre paper champ? He doesn't deserve this. What a pitiful job, WBA, seriously, that's disgusting.

:rofl Do you really think today's Rahman can beat Nasimento?
I don't think this Rahman can beat top-100 HW (top-200, maybe)
Rahman is like Danny Williams - beyond shot

Rahman is a shadow of his former self, and he never was a superstar to begin with. Sad to see how this once proud (and cocky) man has faded into oblivion.

I hope Rock's handlers saw that the best thing for their man is retirement now. This guy should never return to the ring.

Mandatory challenger for the title, it is bloody scary how low our sport has got, i had very low expectations regarding this fight and courtesy of Rahman those low expectations were not even met.

A 39 year old athlete (term used very loosely), entering the ring so out of condition and lacking any intent to fight in a 'Championship' bout is sickening, Rock is good nickname for Rahman as he sure moved like one.

Rahman you were gifted a good payday by WBA, now please do not bring your sorry disinterested lard ass to any boxing ring any time soon.

    :deal This.
Agree , what a career it was but what a joke that fight was. I honestly cannot believe they let Hasim in the ring if he could not hold himself up. SURELY they knew this in training/sparring.

Povetkin certainly bulldozed him with no problem, however it was most obvious that Hasim has NO LEGS. NONE. His knees are shot to **** - I cannot even believe he's beaten the tomato cans of late. He did not appear as off balance in those fights but , that was a mighty fall from grace last night. Goodnight & goodbye Hasim Rock Rahman.

Rahman had good career. He was one of those tougher guys there.

Rahman pretty much always came to fight.
