Decarie is ducking in and throwing big line drive rights to the chin. Body shots by Decarie before bowing out. Perez chops him into a corner, landing flush and affecting Decarie. They exchange, and Decarie is able to regain control with his well-timed rights up top and body shots.

Round 5

Decarie is still committed to the high right hand, occasionally mixing it up with a ruse of a jab to set up a right to the body. Perez keeps dancing away and covering up in a loose guard, more concerned about protecting his head than keeping out the body shots. Decarie circles to his right and launches intermittent high rights. Short rights to the body by Decarie as Perez misses a jab over his head trying to close the distance and sweep his arms out around Decarie, perhaps going for a clinch.

Decarie keeps knocking Perez upside the head with his right hand, then ducking quickly with his earmuffs on or swaying back out of range. Perez is picking up his pace a bit, ducking in and reaching with left uppercuts to the body but not getting much torque on anything. Decarie is putting the lead right into the body and then slapping up top with left hooks. BIG LEFT HOOK to the chin by Decarie, and Perez wobbles. One more, and DOWN!! He beats the count, but gets clocked with a right hand!!! OUT ON HIS FEET!!
